LinkedIn Ads reporting and campaigns analysis

I recently worked on LinkedIn Ads reporting templates, and I started to look for some key points about the Social campaigns as a whole.

The success of social media advertising relies mostly on the social media platform on which you run your campaigns:

For example, Facebook has the largest audience. While Its purpose is to keep people connected with family and friends, many of those people are also involved in business activities.

Instagram’s primary focus is the sharing of images. Therefore, it has a limited impact on B2B.

Twitter has over 330 million active monthly users, and it is a medium to instantly create and share ideas and information. It also has a large number of business followers.

LinkedIn targets are business professionals and have over 590 million users by the start of 2019. Moreover, on LinkedIn, you can share your experience as visual or verbal messages. Its users are seeking jobs or share Content.  Mainly, they are here to make business connections.

LinkedIn is the most successful platform for getting quality leads for B2B. 26% of B2B decision-makers are LinkedIn members, and their companies generate 80% of their overall social media marketing leads through LinkedIn.

Should you advertise on LinkedIn?    

LinkedIn ads are more expensive than Twitter, Google, or Facebook ads. They are, however,  worth the money for the right campaigns.  

The impact of the LinkedIn members is significant, but they also have two times the average web crowd’s buying power. LinkedIn ads allow organizations to connect with the world’s largest business professionals’ community by serving ad content to members through various products and platforms. LinkedIn is the best advertising for B2B companies.  Therefore, the quality of leads you gain through a LinkedIn campaign vs. Facebook, Twitter, or Google campaign is unmatchable.

You can use Sponsored Content, Message Ads, Dynamic Ads, Text Ads, or a mix of all four. Although Sponsored Content appears directly in the LinkedIn feed of professions you want to reach and comes in three different formats: single image ads, video ads, and carousel ads. LinkedIn Ads are less effective than LinkedIn Sponsored Content, which is a great way to accumulate new quality leads and is well worth the money.

Reporting Your LinkedIn Ads campaigns

To effectively use any platform and LinkedIn Ads, you need first to understand your marketing goals and then understand the data.
